While I’m working on the next drop, I wanted to start a new series to catch you up on what’s been happening in my corner of the world. Think of The Interlude as a peek into the group chat: a tarot pull, a book I can’t stop thinking about, some moodboard scraps, and whatever else I’ve been orbiting lately.
⚔︎ a collective Tarot reading
I’ve started doing readings again and this is a little bit of the recent energy:
The Nine of Wands signifies being at the final stages of a long, challenging journey or project. Getting to where you’ve gotten so far hasn’t come without sacrifice, but the end is near and this card is representative of all that resilience you’ve shown so far. While you may feel tired and worn down - don’t throw all your progress out the window just yet. Channel whatever willpower you have to keep going and see this thing through to the end.
With the appearance of the Magician, you have everything you need to make that dream a reality. All the resources you need are readily available - you don’t need to look outside of yourself to find them. As shown by the Nine of Wands - you’re close to the finish line, you have it in you to make it happen, you manifest your desires.
Seeing Strength reversed, I take that as a signal to stay flexible. You already know you’re going to get to where you’re going, but loosen the grip you have on the way you think it’s going to happen. You don’t need to hang on so tightly. The pathway to your success may not look how you originally imagined, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still within reach through different means.
💿 the next single is on the way
I finally got my next single mastered over the weekend, so I decided to start working on the visuals - this is a little moodboard I came up with for some artwork inspiration. It’ll be coming out at the end of next month, but if you wanna help me out - you can put in a good word for me with Spotify by presaving it today <3

📘 my Q1 book rec
Speculative fiction that hits close to home:
One of my favorite books I’ve read so far this year. This one felt particularly poignant for everything happening in the world at the moment - when three tech billionaires try to escape to their private bunkers at the supposed brink of the end of the world, ethical dilemmas come into question, especially for those in their inner circles. Would you try to save everyone from the impending doom or dip out in the nick of time to save yourself and avoid the chaos? Meanwhile, it keeps you guessing at who’s really pulling the strings and which players actually know the whole truth. There are so many twists right up until the very end.
While it all does sound pretty grim, I would say the overall vibe is way more “Women in STEM saving the world” rather than just a bunch of doom and gloom. Plus - this one gets extra bonus points for having a queer storyline 💅🏼
Have you read anything good lately?
